CustomMade.com, with $20M in funding from Google Ventures, is a two-sided market place for connecting Buyers and Makers for one-of-a-kind creations. I worked mainly on the backend with Django and ElasticSearch. My role was heavily focused on improving search, building a product taxonomy, improving data quality, and helping scale their platform.
